Vaasi Kaarini is not merely a form of worship, but a living spiritual experience, a direct manifestation of Adhi Sakthi revealed through inner vision and realized through practice. She represents the union of divine energy and inner awareness, guiding seekers toward the highest state of realization.
Around 2009 or 2010, while caring for his maternal aunt (younger mother) during her ill health, Sarvagnani Kumar Ayya began to perceive this act not merely as a personal duty, but as service to all mothers in the world.
In that moment of deep compassion and awareness, as he looked at her, a profound vision unfolded.
She appeared as Adhi Sakthi, radiant and majestic wearing a crown and draped in a silk pitambaram (golden-yellow saree). She was adorned with exquisite ornaments on her ears and arms, seated with one leg crossed over the other. In her right hand, she held the Soolam (trident), and her left hand was raised in Abhaya Mudra (gesture of blessing and protection), radiating immense brilliance.
This divine vision lasted only a moment neither fully graspable nor dismissible leaving behind a deep spiritual impression.
Later, after the commencement of the Veda Gnana Yoga Gnana classes at Thalavaipalayam, during a state of meditation, another vision appeared.
Guruji saw a Neem tree located in a specific part of the garden. At the center of its seven branches, there was a small sapling of a Peepal (Arasa Maram) tree. When he went in search of it physically, the vision proved to be exact the trees existed just as seen in meditation. Recognizing this as a divine indication, it became clear that this sacred spot was meant for the manifestation of the Divine Mother.
With this realization, Guruji decided that the form of the Divine Mother who appeared in the vision should be enshrined at that very location. Through a sculptor known to him, the image of the Mother was carefully designed and installed at the identified spot. She was named:
This name reflects her role as the guiding force behind the inner breath and life energy that leads to spiritual awakening.
To this day, seekers bow to Vaasi Kaarini to realize the state of Shiva and receive the blessings of Vaalaipen (the youthful Divine Mother). Through this path, a deeper truth is revealed:
By turning inward, dissolving into stillness, and aligning with this divine presence, seekers continue on the path of Gnosis (spiritual wisdom). This journey is not limited to personal realization. Guruji guides all who come to walk this same path and experience eternal peace of the soul.
Special poojas for Vaasi Kaarini are conducted on every Pournami (Full Moon) and Amavasai (New Moon). These sacred rituals are performed to invoke divine grace, purify inner energies, and help seekers deepen their spiritual connection, bringing clarity, peace, and inner balance.
